Walter sounded so much better with the Buckeye 3 inch 3 chime whistle.

Agreed! Walter’s original whistle is the last Buckeye 3 chime remaining on the WDWRR because the other 2 have worn out. It’s currently on the Lilly Belle and it’s only a matter of time before it can’t be used anymore. Like a lot of locomotives parts, whistles wear out as well.

@@Steamfan1 Yep, I would imagine they wouldn't be too hard to get ahold of though. The Buckeye 3 inch 3 chime was a pretty common whistle though not commonly used in mainline engines though and that's one of the reasons those whistles were special.
