Having ridden the Speed 400 since 1year, I have to say it's an absolute gem of a bike. It's a Modern Classic version of the Duke 390, almost - about 90%. The engine is so refined, brilliant drivability in city and on highway. Speed 400 is superb for city use, though I have taken it Chennai - Bengaluru and it was just effortless, considering I had not ridden a bike more than 60Kms in a single stretch before that ride. I'm a guy who would take the car out for the long rides but now have become too much interested in biking, all thanks to the confidence this bike gives me. Scrambler 400X is definitely for the highway riding inclined person, for city use Speed 400 is simply too good. Plus the exclusivity this bike offers, thanks to the herd mentality of buying the Himalayan450, is an added bonus, even today pl ask me about this bike. Bajaj - Triumph just hit it out of the park. P.S. I haven't tested the Himalayan 450, not saying its a bad bike but I just can't understand the difference in the sales compared to the 400X.
