whale oil sellers used to say the same about oil lol get over it. electric cars are what we all gonna be driving... why you say? why do you think Elon is chumming up with donnie so much? gop wins his electric charging network charging those cars..... get what you want but please lets not pretend oil is not finite and will run out so it needs replacing. get the tech started now. btw at least come up a better argument than that which has been used everytime tech changes lol

@@12bigreddwell if you think electric is the way you certainly don't have any Common Sense either. Exactly where do you think the electricity comes from other than the socket on the wall solar power and wind power do not generate enough power as it is. The windmills they put up everywhere obviously proven they are not sustainable and they do not generate enough to make up for what the cost them. And hydroelectric dams flood billions of Acres and disperse millions of Wildlife and farming Acres because someone wants to drive a car run by a battery. So many places have brownouts already because they can't even run air conditioners in the home and you think the world is going to run off electricity you don't even know how it's made

@@bcpioneer59 my point is oil is finite.... it will run out... so we will need other tech and unless we can make portable little mini reactors to power a generator system of some sort a battery will be the only option. so please to quote yourself use your common sense and get over it.. whale oil was replaced, steam was replaced coal will be replaced and so will oil... it is tthe way of things for new tech to replace the old and its also the way of things that sellers of the old tech will hang on as long as they can lol now don't look up :) and personally why should we not build the newest and the best.

EVs are a bit complicated for Thailand as the country is large with a lot of undeveloped areas so hard to provide charging in my opinion for both charging areas and at home charging, but in the big cities and towns is good because in heavy traffic situations you are not wasting fuel by sitting stationary in the traffic jams, suitable for both buses and taxi in fact in China ICE vehicles are not allowed for buses or taxi's. With the long charging times, an 8 hour journey would easily become a 10/11 hour journey. Suvarnabhumi Airport has a fleet of EV taxis but at a price higher than ICE taxis

EV sales in developed countries is dropping especially when the state subsidizing is reduced or removed. Thais will wake up to the bitter taste when they realize the de-priciation is brutal. Charging infrastructure is sub par i Thailand. And elecreicity prices will soar in the upcomming years. EVs is an upper middle class/rich thing and they will buy Evs until the reality hits them in the face. Chinese Ev manufacturers also gives Thai decicion makers commission for their unregulated imports of Chinese EVs.

Sales trend data shows a 4% growth in EV sales YOY, albeit slow the demand is increasing, not “dropping off”. There is a reason you are seeing more EVs at car shows because that IS the direction things are going. It is estimated by 2025 10% of all new car sales will be EV and that is projected to be over 60% by 2040. The EV takeover will not be overnight but, make no mistake it IS coming, and coming hard.

@@Crazyresellerfor some evs fit with lifestyle but for a lot of people ev ownership comes with a lot of unadvertised drawbacks. Once the drawbacks of evs become as widly known as the benifits i see a looming problem for ev sales. Evs benifit from overwhelming but not entirely accurate , positive spamming by media. I was expecting the ev ownership experience i read about. I bought a tesla and a bmw ce 04 ev bike at same time. I have a cousin that lives on Oahu Hawaii that has an EV. But Oahu is a small island, and you could drive the entire island easily on a single charge. But it gets far more complicated for long distance travel in America. I drove to Yellowstone National Park 4 years ago. It would have taken far more planning to do that trip in an EV. I can't say that I know if it would even be possible to do that trip in an EV. Far too few charging stations that I'm aware of.
