I was never really that good at drifting and gaining Nitrous in these games. I thought I got it down, but i tend to sometimes hit the walls or don't gain any Nitrous when drifting. I always fall way behind every other player in 6 and 7. They're very skilled.

That's all good, Ridge Racer in general has a pretty high skill ceiling and learning curve, especially when it comes to the high-level races that's going on in both games. Not everyone can get the hang of how the game works at first, but once you really get into it and practice you'll pretty much be as fast as all the other skilled players out there, and you'll be really satisfied. It's also why both RR6 and RR7 are very fun to this day and still very challenging to play especially with the physics and the game mechanics.

@@Francis_765 Yeah, the games are still fun, but I do wish I can get pretty good at the races online. It's a lot harder to gain nitrous in these games more than any other arcade racer and something I wanna try to get better at
