I learned form RR6 that each special machine has a special Gimmick. Angelus has Fast Nitrous Charge Crinale has Extreme Drifting Ultranova has Fast Ultimate charging. Terrajin has the LONGEST Triple nitrous but changed it in RR7 Pronzione has anti gravity 490B has great handling Bass Cruiser is just tanky Monstrous has the best nitrous and the G00 just there...im not kidding.

Research has found that the G00 technically is the fastest Special Machine. The problem is everything else it has, especially its atrocious nitrous charge.

@@KenAgaro No, Crinale has higher base speed in RR6. 217 mph is the fastest base top speed in the game. The G00 only goes 208, which is not only slower than Crinale in RR6, it is also slower than the Monstrous' 210 and the Angelus' 214. Is something wrong with the in-game speedo in RR6?

@@crimsonsnow4465 The Bass Cruiser also has great ultimate charge in RR6 (idk about RR7) but is is very very tricky to control in RR6

I swear i thought i was good when i first did extreme battles. And then realized, I had shit boost timing and bad drift control. This was essentailly a suddenly steep learnin curve for me.

It was really tough to learn the timing for boost and have better drift control, I failed a lot in the process but in the end it was really worth it, at least for me

When Bandai started to take over most of Namco's operations after the merger, many of their famous teams were dissolved/disbanded, and many IPs were lost, including the Ridge Racer team. To me, when Ridge Racer Vita and later, Slipstream was released, it felt like Bandai was intentionally trying to kill off Ridge Racer once and for all. Which is a shame because it's arguably one of their most popular IPs. As more focus was placed into the more 'mainstream'/anime-based games, these games have now become just a distant memory (and at least still living in the form of roms)

With these Extreme Battles. I lay out a strategy to use the nitrous on each course. Then I pick the Sinseong Jujak. Which is an insane Ultimate Charge car with the correct tune-ups. And I proceed to slaughter these Special Machines. Great work on these. You drove well :)

Opus 3 and 5 keep giving me nightmares. I think these are the most difficult wins I eventually managed to pulled off in any game and I play Dark Souls with ease
