I'll definitely go in depth on that question at some point, what I can say right now is get some clay, some paint and some tools, doesn't matter if it is a kitchen utensil or whatever, just find something to get you going :)

i feel like using a green tinted translucent polymer clay would also look real good and give it a realistic look similar to a succulent

Yeah I totally agree, it would look really cool! :D I seldom buy any other clay colours than black, just to save a little money buying big packs instead of small ones and so I decided to go for a little "cartooney" version as it looks pretty eccentric in the films :)

Aww thank you so much! Haha sorry not sorry :') I got the flat metal spatula at school, but it is from Tiranti, a UK based art supplier, you can order it online. it is the dental tool SL :) I just ordered more myself, it is quick and affordable :)
