what average angler can afford to put 5kg of cell out each day ? then only catch 1 carp a day and jay caught off his baited spot ridiculous please get real ! wonder if jay selling bait now got anything to do with telling people u need to put out so much bait ?

I agree with you totally mate but if you knew you was going to fish somewhere like farlows you would buy you bait well in advance bit by bit 1kg at a time until you know you would have enough bait before you go

I've come across anglers with 1000pound electrical barrows and top of the range bivvys that won't spend on bait ???makes no sense to me but each to there own ✌️

Which average anglers mrs or work let’s them go fishing 2 or 3 weekends a month? If putting in 5-10kg on a weekend gets me a bite to make the most of the weekend then why not for the limited time I’m able to get out

Don’t think you need loads of bait there , it’s so over fished I would use singles to showing fish for the first day , then use bait if no luck etc or pva bags 👍

Tbh totally honest mate i didn’t use any where near the amount of bait of the other guys and still caught a shed load. It’s not always about how much you put in but where and when you put it in. 😎
