Allergies is something my family has battled with for a while and I’m happy to say… we won the war! Silica gel sachets (you’ve seen them in shoe boxes), diluted vinegar and reducing open shelving where dust can sit have been game changers!
💧Add silica gels everywhere! I have them in my shoe closet, medicine cabinets and on every hanger! Keep them away from pets as they are poisonous if consumed. I have 2 dogs and we are very careful about it around the house. I REALLY recommend this strategy instead of buying other moisture absorbing boxes that cost a lot more and need to be replaced frequently.
💧 Diluted Vinegar! My floor (not the marble), AC vents and cupboards get cleaned with water + vinegar. I haven’t had mold in years and the vinegar smell disappears in 15mins!
💧 My house doesn’t have any open shelving. I’ve kept my home as low maintenance and dust free as possible!
