The crochet dolls go on top of a bed. The toilet paper cozy ones were much smaller.

I’m fairly sure I’m late but the China Rocket Racer toy is an actual toy from the 1960s. On eBay, it goes for about $50 with the box and $15 without the box. To answer your question though, yes it was made in China, it was just an uncommon toy for the time.
