What really made tseed lose especially in the last round was constantly pressing buttons in the middle of raylakers string or wake up buttons which gave raylakers more combo potential and damage he should’ve never had

I just made an observation that MK needs a strong base variation system for every character, before any custom variations come in. One problem with mk11 was that some characters had really good moves and movesets as compared to other characters... it sort of resulted in a situation where everyone went for the character with the better moves in order to win. Really put some well designed characters and moves in the dark and makes the game one sided. The 3 variation system in mkx made it simpler to tweak and balance moves and you had to make do with it(if you want to master that character of course). In mk11 if a certain move is nerfed I'd just switch that move for another which isn't as bad(rendering the nerfed move obsolete and making the game one way).... am I making sense or it's just me?
