To the casual observer, airbrushing the tremolo springs probably seems like being too lazy to mask them off, but its actually an ancient tone ninja technique to really nail the solos. Thats tone paint.

Converting a 7-string to a 6 for wider string spacing is a neat idea, but it was executed horribly here. The strings don't even go over the pole pieces on the pickups. I guess I shouldn't be surprised though, since the craftsmanship on the rest of the mod was so jank.
