Hello Brother.. You should be able to switch on Rear fog function continuously during intense Fog conditions. Instead of clipping the wire with brake lights, try clipping the wire with Front fog light/switch. That will be more useful!!

Hie i have bought same for my Tiago AMT from Showroom. When we connected to break Lamp (Right side) it was working for few minutes and it will stop working tried with left side but result is same i.e connected side break lamp and Newly installed rear fog lamp stops works to resume back to normal condition we have to off & On ignition. Finally we got to know Tiago is detects over load consumption and cuts off power to that specific unit. If you look under rear bumper there will be a wiring harness coupler provided which fits perfectly to Rear fog lamp socket (folded & tied - bypassing from Boot lamp) but its dummy no were connected to power supply. Solution 1: To avoid interruptions we have to install a dedicated switch for Rear Fog Lamp just like OEM Front fog lamp switch. Solution 2: Have to replace bulb with low power consumption LED where you will not have over load issue Con: Brightness will be low FYI: This is my experience and testing & installation was done by one of my friend who is experienced and working for Volvo cars. My installation is on hold we are trying to find best possible alternative solution to get power trough fuse box instead of solution 1& 2. Thank for reading 😊

Honestly this is what I really want that we can discuss and share our experiences 🙏🙏🙏👍👍👍 When I installed rear fog same thing happened with me. It will flow for few seconds while pressing break and shut off and I had to restart the ignition. Then I did some checks and found that one of the dual element rear break bulb was faulty (it was glowing very dim ) we did not notice at first as bulb was glowing , later we changed the bulb and issue was solved. We were shocked to see that the dual element break bulb which was glowing dim was faulty. This was my experience hope it can help you 🙏 Let me know if you find the same reason. And about the wiring harness dummy, I guess it is available in xz only. Please clarify 🙏🙏

Ridiculously Amazing As I mentioned in my previous comment it’s bypassed from boot lamp if you have boot lamp dummy should be there. I would like to share few more experience with you regarding - VW POLO Horns installed, Switch back LED/ DRL, under seat JBL sub Woofer, Auto dimming IRVM, Head Unit & etc. I have made few major modifications in my car which i personal felt missing in Tiago and to give premium look.
