My favorite thing about personal checkout is when I've just gone to buy an item that was $5 cheaper the week earlier and I can repay myself that $5 by writing the wrong numbers on the bulk food tags. Changing dehydrated cranberries from $3.89 a mg. to 69 cents a mg. don't tell me you don't do it yourself. Not to mention the huge amount of money that they're saving by not having to pay staff to ring customers through. And you don't even get free bags anymore.

I walked into a McDonalds the other day and was in shock! The first thing I noticed there was no workers. By the way, I was already starving. They had four giant computer teller screens so I had no other choice but to fume and figure out how to operate one of these new slot machines. I felt like I was being filmed in a bad movie. I waited for my order to come out by the trays and stopped a girl to ask if they got my order? I don't work here! Number 41, "Your six Big Mac's, two McFish four large fries, four large Cokes & four chocolate chip cookies are ready soon. I only wanted a happy meal!

Kid leashes are amazing. Especially when there's one parent who needs to wrangle a baby and a toddler. I am sure that Rob doesn't understand this, as he has people who are there to help him with his children whenever needed.

When my young man was 2 he wanted to walk everywhere and wasn't interested in going in a stroller. So I explained to him if he wanted to walk then he would need to be close to me and I had a thing that was like a telephone cord and it attached to my wrist and his wrist and I wasn't worried about him getting scooped up and he got to walk around and didn't have to sit in a stroller. The worst thing in the world is seeing a 5-year-old sitting in a baby stroller. LOL Whatever you need to do to make sure that your kids are safe and make your life stress-free as possible go for it. There's always people that are going to give you that look because they think they're the perfect parent. They're probably the one with that 15 year old kid that took an obscene tantrum in the walmart.
