Really good video explaining this and the relevant aspects! I'm a design student and whilst looking at ski lifts and their ergonomic aspects I wondered how this would work. So yeah, cheers

Good evening! I'm an amputee with one leg, and I'd love to learn how to sit ski. Where can I buy one of these ski's? I'm in BC Canada

I'm aware there are a number of resorts in BC that have sit ski's you can try, they also have training/coaching programmes that are well worth checking out. Ring around a few resorts and see what's available. Sit skis are quite expensive so trying a few is well work it before you take the plunge. I did a vid on my Tessier Scarver kzbin.info/www/bejne/hqGke4GXoM2nh8U. You can also find out more on the Tessier website at www.dualski.com

is there a hydrolic platform that has been invented yet for sit ski?
@AdaptiveGo2 жыл бұрын
Not sure exactly what you mean. Tessier make a ski ski that has an assist for loading. Kind of like a gas strut on the boot of a car. I'm not aware of a hydraulic platform to help loading, There might be some ski resorts that have something like that. Lifties usually don't mind providing some extra horsepower to help with loading, you just have to ask for help. I hope that answers your question?
