I was turning through a crosswalk up at UCLA and it was a little wet. I lost my front wheel in the turn and went down hard! I injured my knee bad enough that I was off my bike for 5 weeks recovering. Sreet paint is no joke as I have seen several road cyclists go down. This is my first week of normal riding since getting injured.

Hi Peter, it's good to see someone who still thinks about safety I like speed and riding fast when it safe to but with common sense when the cops really learn the specs about the battery's and motors a lot of people with lose there bikes and I don't want that to happen 😮

Unfortunately most states in America have caught on to the current state of ebikes and how fast they are causing bikes like surrons, talarias other known fast bikes to be impounded or shut down completely from writing in the streets. Luckily some states are more lenient and some parts of California like LA. Don’t really enforce speeds on bikes at all. it’s better to be riding a custom built where it is unknown how many amps watts your bike can actually go in a stock where every cop knows that it exceeds the limits.
