Hi Leanna. Another great vid. I wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the work you do with these videos. I passed my mod 2 a couple of days ago - I am now the proud owner of a full A license and have had a couple of short rides on my gorgeous red 2021 v-strom 650. There is no doubt that your content played a very significant part in my learning. I mean that - the quality of your content is a cut above. My mod 2 was at Wrexham LGV which has the 5th lowest pass rate in the country. Nottingham has among the highest, and I am 100% convinced this has to be down to the quality of tuition from you and your colleagues at Roadcraft. Thank you - you make a huge difference. I'll keep watching for sure - here is where the learning really starts.

Hi Phil, thank you for such a lovely comment. I'm so pleased you passed and feel the videos have helped, that's what makes the hours of filming and editing worthwhile for me 😊. Haha, even the examiner here has commented that he thinks he will be under investigation soon for passing too many of our students 😂 Thanks again and enjoy your lovely bike 😊

Daily commuting means ive been out in most of these storms we've had in January/February. Sometimes get a good full body ache after riding in wind, definitely a work out! These kind of tips are essential in the UK, never know when the weather is going to change. thanks leanna!

Good video thank you. Worst are gusty winds soo unpredictable. Once i rely too much on the strong wind and lean into it to maintain the stability when suddenly it ease off and i almost und up in the ditch :)

Yes, this is true of passing uprights when going across a large bridge too. It can be quite unsettling! Thanks for your comment 😊

hi Leanna, Another great video i also just watched your one on diesel sooo! the combo of wind, rain and diesel is a lovely challenge almost every day for the last couple months 🤣🤣 I can't agree more on the work out and i don't ride for that long at the moment.😊 unlike you of course🤣 My cb500f is in for her health service at the moment. should be ready be ready soon for me to take out later :) as no work today 😄 I was asked by a colleague why do i come to work by bike instead of the car when weather is bad and my reply was this. (one) you can't predict the uk weather and i live by the sea 🤣 (two ) in a car you sometimes think of other things whilst driving example work! but when i go on my bike its full concentration with a kind of relaxing feeling because nothing else matters and the ride all be it can be a bit nerve racking at times, i am in my own space with nothing on my mind except the ride the learning parts are so much fun...in a scary way 🤣 No! they didn't understand and thought i was crazy 🤪 🤣 I still Love your videos and love reading other peoples comments on them. In the last part of your video trying to avoid being pushed into the river made me chuckle! hmm next video titled Swim with Leanna 🤣🤣😂 stay safe and safe ride Kev your stalker 😂

As always Leanna informative video and totally agree very tiring. Feel like you have been in boxing ring sometimes the way your head gets banged about haha. I was caught out once when I was on a 125 going along a dual carriageway a got gust of wind from no where and took me across two lanes wasn't nice. But lesson learn't. 😅. Take care and ride safe

Haha yes, I had something similar on my big bike passing the front end of a lorry, nearly hit the central reservation. Put the wind up me somewhat 😂 Thanks for the comment 😊

It scrazy driving in windy days..... I have SYM jet 125 scooter, blows from road/lane..... I hate driving in windy days..
@motorcyclelessonsuk7 ай бұрын
The more you do it, the easier it gets but I understand on a smaller bike the wind is felt more, and can be very unsettling 😬

Hi Leanna, any particular helmet (type or brand) helps while riding in higher speed or windy conditions?
@motorcyclelessonsuk9 ай бұрын
A full face is always quieter than a flip front, but it depends if you attach Bluetooth headsets or helmet cameras as these significantly increase wind noise. Thanks for the comment 😊

Really great video and this something I'm trying to get used to. How does a 125 compare to the larger bike? I'm a big guy on a small 125 so I'm acting like wind sail. Any tips on a 125 and the wind? Thanks
@motorcyclelessonsuk10 ай бұрын
Thank you, and you're welcome 😊 The bigger bikes are generally more planted, but it depends on whether they have a full fairing too. 125s are easily blown about though all the tips covered in this upload are still relevant.

Harleys dont have to worry about the wind 😂 Would a windscreen act like a sail?
@motorcyclelessonsuk10 ай бұрын
Haha 😂. Only in a headwind, when it would cause extra buffeting.
