I currently have a 2015 1290 R myself and did a testride on a 2022 model. The massive improvement that i noticed right away was the non shaky daiky when ur in a bigger gear. The old ones sure dont like going like in 5-6 gear pretty much anywhere 😂

Is pakken comfortabeler dan de rest. En ik heb ze gehad dus kan het weten 😁. Is boterzacht dit ding. De eerste generatie merk je gewoon dat het ding hard en gevaarlijk is. Deze is op alle gebieden gewoon beter 😎

I much prefer the handling of the duke 390 and the size, but the 1290 has infinitely more character and terrifying amounts of power at any rpm. The new one is pretty tame if you don't twist the throttle too hard

Great bike... but you're still prepared to ride in those stupid gloves which would offer zero protection to your hands if you came off, also your wrists and forearms would suffer. I hate short gloves generally but your cotton/neoprene ones are the worst. Sorry mate, just thinking of you.

Yeah these are motorcross gloves to be honest. I have dropped on concrete many times before. I always use my elbows to slide , and i got good protection there 😅
