This is so cool. One thing I've learnt from both your best friend and his wife is, new riders tend to ride a bit far to the left. I will be aware and try to stay in the middle of the lane, road conditions permitting. Second thing is, no matter what mistakes you make, keep going, don't be put off.😊

It doesn't take long to be full of confidence. My own daughter went through days where she got really frustrated, but within 2 weeks was riding SO well. Now, there is no stopping any of them :-)

She did really well. New bike and hill start scary as when you first start.

what do you think of the xsr ? i just got one

Because it's a new engine and new tires, it's hard to say. It certainly is a great starter bike because the clutch is very forgiving, as is the throttle. It's lovely to ride but I wasn't able to push it in any way to see how it handles.
