Appreciate that man, get out there and just cruise. I rode about 40 miles today I have lived on these things lol. Reverse comes from doing the whole back and forth at stoplights to not put your foot down. You kinda get thefeel for it not even trying to.

BTW, I've been practicing riding backwards on the Mten3. It feels so natural on it even though the stability is far less. It makes the 16 feel really stiff.

It fits pretty nice in the Ninebot 14 inch backpack. I rode my KS16 for 1/4 a mile with the mten strapped back there.

Hi Chooch, after watching the QC vid of the KS16S again ( link below ) and your review of it I am convinced that its still the best next wheel for me. I've got 750km on my Ninebot one e plus and I absolutely love it. I like hard acceleration and deceleration and basically racing around a course as high speed as possible.... I have been watching your video's over and over again, just to see how you do it. And because of that, I ordered a 16S. It will be my first wheel. It could take some time when it feels natural, but it's all about having some fun. Keep the video's coming, they're great. I could ask you to use a mic when recording, that will greatly enhance the audio. Sometimes I have to go back to understand you, because English is not my language. Great job !

TinyFPV I was really expecting to especially after this, but I never did. Pivot your view with the waist more so than the neck and it really helps. I used to keep body straight and just turn my neck

Once you said riding backwards is so natural. So many other riders practicing years so that they could ride 20-30 meters backwards. Please explain how this became so natural to you. At what point did you realize how to do it? You are riding backwards not turning from your upper body but maneuvering from your knees and ankles. This is an other technique than most people "teach". Please explain what someone has to feel so that it became natural! How to practice it, so that someone understood how it works, and realize that it is "so natural"! Thank you Chooch! Dániel Erdőfi practice in situations like waiting for a stoplight to change or other times when you need to stop and don’t want to dismount. Always start going forward and transition to reverse don’t just go from a standstill and then try to reverse

Is riding backwards for an extended trip like this a good idea? It seems to me like the risk of serious injury goes up dramatically when riding backwards. If you fall for any reason, you're going to go down fast and smack the back of your head HARD into the pavement. There will be no opportunity to do a run off, not even for a step or two. You also can't use your arms or hands to arrest your fall in any way. Those bicycle helmets probably aren't enough protection for that kind of impact.

Bruce Johnson I completely agree, but the reason for doing it is the same as a motorcycle that decides to wheelie at 70 mph on the interstate, of course it's dangerous but it is also very fun. Probly shoulda worn the full face helmet for this though

Braddah Duke lol that's part of it man glad you are not hurt too bad, try using a belt under the top handle to pull up on the wheel when learning, and also use a wall to help you get the feel of the wheel the more you even just stand on it while holding a wall will get you acclimated to the feeling

no i have not tried the 14s I do however have a another 14inch wheel, it is fun but i feel you gain alot of usability for commuting and getting over bumps, potholes and offroad, for just like 200 more bucks going with the 16s. Personal opinion though
