Can you imagine horses and mules pulling wagons up 666 to Jones Park? It really happened! Great video, Nate!

The techy trail ya'll started with is one of my favorite janky bangers. The rock work is almost malicious but there's flow to be unlocked.

Amazing section of proper jank.

There are 3 handlebar height rocks that seem suspiciously out of place on that one, haha.

I once tripped acid at the bottom of that trail (back then you could drive High Drive, which was great for teenagers on drugs) and found a dead deer carcass with the whole middle cut out of it. Still gives me the chills when I think about it. But was it even real?

High Drive earning its name, lol.

Unfortunately theres not much left of 666 , the upper section along with Crank Case ally and the original Jones down hill were closed years ago by the fun haters , I have some vids of those sections somewhere on my channel. Great vid as usual .

Yep, I used to ride up and down bear creek years ago. Super hard uphill, but worth it for the downhill. Then, one morning I was riding up and found a sign right in the middle of the trail saying it was closed to save the fish. Used to be my favorite trail. I'm gonna check out the videos you've got of 666.

@@michaelharrington6372 Yeah , there seems to be a movement against old school natural single track in the area.

Nate, in your travels to Snowmass this summer, could you PLEASE do a video of the Government Trail? I have searched on YT and can only find videos where the guy puts the camera on his handlebar, has a bell ringing the entire ride, films mostly the top tube of his bike, etc. Nothing worth watching. I used to ride that all the time when I lived up there and it it's a great trail with lots of variety. Thanks if you can make it happen.
@natehills93885 ай бұрын
That one has definitely been on the list for years. Need to make it happen!
