they gotta start letting people pay 2.75 for LIRR trips within new york. literally every other city outside north america does that (for example, paris metro has unified passes with the RER)

I ride the 77 to white plains to and from work. So my buses for the most part is the Orion V. From what I’m hearing, the county is looking to replace these by the summer.

@@SeligsTrainsandTravels I am not sure about the other routes normally served by the Orion, but for us in the 77, once in a while we will get the NABI or Xcelsior as well. In fact, the 2nd 77 bus out of white place is most often with a NABI bus. So I could easily see them use one of those for the 77 but I’m not a fan since the seats are not as comfy as the Orion V coach version.

@@SeligsTrainsandTravels so update: the county is starting to phase out the Orion V’s slowly. There are some still in service but will be gradually reduced. Today my Orion V was subbed with the Xcelsior. We will see what the rest of the week is like.

No, you're wrong about bee line not wanting them around, they been in service more than twelve years, that's why they are getting rid of them! Bee line had neoplan buses 16 years, but they had to get rid of them.
