I have a 2020 821 & love it. Engine heat is a bit of a bitch if it is hot outside - It can get hot enough to burn your leg a little. You just gotta keep moving on this bike. Engine stalling is a weird issue - if the engine not fully warmed up - when you rev high & then rapidly engine break, it can stall. Not sure if it's "the character" or an engineering problem.
@ducatinyc4 жыл бұрын
Thats a bit weird and was unsettling since if it happened mid turn it could be an issue. A real shame. I hope its something that can be fixed. And heat, I dont mind. Congrats on the 2020 821! Lucky Duc!

Hi, I own a 2019 821 and had some stalling issues but here are some tips: Do not downshift from second gear to first until you come to a stop, but most important thing: when starting the bike wait until the engine warms up a bit. Love my 821

Long time no see!! Glad you are doing fine and looking for a new Monster! One of the reason the engine may be shutting down is because it's working on a very lean fuel/air mixture to rudece pollution. I know that because before purchasing a Monster I was looking at some Ducati Scramblers, some users where reporting this issue. Those 2 bikes share the same engine if I remember correctly. One thing for sure, the 620 sounds way better. I finally got to enjoy my Monster after having it delivered a couple days before quarantine, I fookin love it!

Stalling like that raises a big red flag to me on this specific bike, but I used to have a Triumph Street Triple R that had similar specs - it was a fun little ripper. I sadly have to agree with you. 620 is just simple class.

Thank you for your negative vibes and wishing me harm. I’ve crashed before and will again. I actually wish u safe riding, eventhough u dont deserve it for being a jerkoff

@@ducatinyc 500.000 miles on my 3 Ducatis , I have tons of riding experience and just saying the way you ride , at least on camera looks like a good way to get dinged up . oh and ease up on the jerkoff comments, if you ever. Could ride with me you would see that is not the case !

@@artmchugh5644 I'm sure you're not a jerkoff but the comment came off like you're wishing harm. You could have easily worded it in a way that would motivate as opposed to offend.

While you're scared for cops I'm scared for your life. Extremely reckless driving. You also gotta think what kind of example you're showing to new riders. Kinda shame, bcs I just found this channel and I'm utterly disappointed.

At no point do I say i'm a role model or that I'm telling people they should ride like me. I'm sorry to have dissapointed you - ride safe!
