Would love for you to discuss in some vids your thoughts while splittin on the routes you're choosing and why. in a two lane road (your direction) you're almost always in the middle of the two cars instead of on the left or right. Is that because of escape routes/lack of? You actually talk about it not being cool that you're on the shoulder in the BQE, how come? Not saying I'd do it but would it be better if you were on the drivers side as you were goin by? Whats the reason for the etiquette you do have. I don't see myself ever having much need to split anywhere near like you do, just the occasional cruise through New Haven CT and I'm not gonna be in a rush when I'm there but it's fascinating. Also know that even if you accommodate this request it'll be a few weeks before I see it lol, but still.
@ducatinyc2 жыл бұрын
Not a bad topic to discuss. Its all about escape routes, I always presume someone will do something silly and I'll have to have a way out. As far as shoulder - thats where ALL the glass, nails, trash, things that will ruin your tire live. Riding a shoulder is a great way to get a flat. And folks hate a shoulder rider 3 times more than a splitter :) Good topic for a vlog though. I should do this one.

Fortunate to own one. Best bike I have ever owned. If you can afford the SP version get it over the standard. You get lighter wheels and Ohlins suspension and some carbon parts. Don't care about the carbon parts, the bike is light enough as it is. The SP tyres it comes with are great, but don't expect more than 3k from the rear and don't expect lots of grip in the wet. They heat up quickly and get very sticky - my nerve runs out a long time before the grip. It is difficult to ride in a sensible manner, but it can be done. Best for early Sunday morning thrash rides. I upgraded the seat because the stock one is a complete plank. Means I can now do 100 miles without getting a numb rear. No fuel gauge, which I still find annoying after a year of ownership.

Killer machine; the laughs and smiles are the ticket with that bike. Really going to enjoy this series as you get more and more experience with many other bikes. The guy yelling at you was startled by you; you did the right thing just ignoring him. You were nowhere close to him.

That guy was indeed silly and I"m so happy I did not engage with him - cuz YOU KNOW i could have... call him a few choice names and then push him off the bike :P I have a list of 10 bikes so far.... the trick is now to follow through.

Yo bro... you don't need to get any more technical on your review. There are thousands of reviews with all tech specs....boring. Review like yours is entertaining and informative....don't change it man. That bike is insane... I'll be in New York next week or the week after, you can take my 2020 R1250GS for a rip if you want. Its also a wheelie monster, although some call it an old mans bike... its a beast and blast to ride, it will hit 140 with ease. Check out some of my vids..... no where as entertaining as your, but you will get the idea of the bike.... we need more of these vids for sure!

I’d be very pissed if that were my bike. I also think lane splitting is the most reckless riding habit, even if it is legal. You keep saying how it’s not your bike and how you’re not going to do this or that, yet you do it.
@ducatinyc2 жыл бұрын
I showed this video to my friend whos bike that was immediately and we both had a laugh and loved it. I'm sorry you are so delicate about your motorcycles. I can tell you do not live in a big city or ever deal with traffic because lanesplitting is CRUCIAL and the only way to ridin in a city, safely. Otherwise you're waiting for a car to rear end you if you pretend to be a little car. I can def tell you have not seen any of my other videos. Ride safe buddy.
@ducatinyc2 жыл бұрын
do you honestly pretend to be a tiny little car when you ride your motorcycle? Is that what you do? Either way - ride safe however it is.

@@ducatinyc you’re right, this is the first video of yours that I seen. I’m thinking about buying another ducati and the Hypermotard 950 sp is most likely what I’ll get. I live in detroit, but you yourself even said you’re riding like an idiot. My comments are, you were riding recklessly and on a bike you yourself said only had 100 miles and was brand new and not yours. You said all of this yourself. I know bikes are fun, and I have 6 of them myself and have been riding for many years, but I wouldn’t be riding like you. You know if a cop seen that, he’d pull you over. Just be safe man. That’s all. I’ll subscribe and check your other videos out.
