Maybe it’s different in France. In the U.S. Northeast, dune protection is serious, particularly with sea rise. You would have faced a big fine and, in some places, bodily harm from residents for the reckless damage to the fragile glass.
@sebdn73702 жыл бұрын
Nah it's the same in France in many areas really. I won't lie I was a bit shocked seeing them do this, as cool as it must have been. I don't know about this particular area, but believe me you can get some big fines further south along the coast in France, that's for sure. I myself can remember beaches I used to go to as a kid, and having to walk through the dunes for 5-10 minutes and now there's nothing left of them... But I think the waves, especially during storms we've had over the last few years, don't hit the coast as strong and bad where they filmed as they do further south on the Atlantic coast, so maybe these dunes aren't being monitored as much...

Blake now has the video for why you should do your maintenance and carry some tools and why goggles and an open face helmet are a great idea. Seriously though he and Neil looked like they were having a blast whilst being sand blasted. Neil going for his high speed run and tucking in, GMBN you now have a new challenge, speed run on a flat, pedal as hard as you can to a witches hat and tuck in for a streamlined roll over a set distance and challenge the GCN and Auf Deutsch crews, get Anna and Manon in on the action too. Great video guys, the riding and scenery was awesome.

Beach riding is fun and a great way to develop power and practice for cyclocross. But dune riding is not cool. Stay off the dunes.
