God on you for throwing yourself into that with no off road experience. It's always a scary feeling the first time you cross a stream on a bike and get that squirly bit of traction loss as you accelerate out the far bank. The 900 has always seemed to me the better size bike for this type of riding than the bigger GS. What did you think of the bike?

Thank you! You can hear my heavy breathing at the start of the video as I was panicking. The 900 was superb, and precisely the kind of bike I wanted to start on. It did all the hard work for me, and I just had to remain balanced. Even on the road, it was good fun.
