Great tutorial mate! My D105 was "Scarfing" and I assumed that it was because of some uneven parts of my land. But after seeing your video I checked the deck level and it was out by 1/2 in side to side! (Just goes to show how well they prepare these things at the point of sale (New purchase!) front to back was out as well. But now, deck all leveled up and it is cutting beautifully. So easy to do thanks to you clear and easy to follow tutorial! Thanks Again! Doons

A lot of manufacturers recommend that the front of the deck be slightly lower than the rear creating a pitch. That 1/4 inch difference was perfect for the pitch and you could have left it alone. They recommend 1/8 to 1/2 inch of a pitch, with 1/4 being right in the middle.

I didn't hear mention of how important it is to be sure your tires are fully inflated before you start.

Very valid point

Only thing I’d suggest is make sure the tires are at suggested psi before doing this this way u know when your tires are inflated to proper psi u also know blades are correct too

Hi John P. please take note that by lifting the discharge shoot cover, it effectively lifted the mower deck higher than normal making a false level.
