no, he was overexagerating. As long as it doesnt get in airbox (which was very far away from the water) there is no real worry. The worst that could happen at that depth is getting the spark plug wet, where on some bikes, not all, it may cut out (you just need to blow the wire after lol) and if water did get in, 2 stroke are rly easy to unflood
