I did the same math on the homeless situation except I added families making under 40k yearly. It would be way cheaper annually to pay out 2-3 grand a month to each family or household/displaced individual than it is to house currently incarcerated prisoners. They’re wasting our tax money on bs programs that don’t yield enough results to make a visible difference. Sorry to get political.
