I’m miss my 2004 z400 . It was my favorite quad when they come out an I finally got one in 2009 and it was in showroom condition white and black just like yours . I shoulda kept it

Go for it man, given this quad from my dad and I loved it since the day I got it. They’re always super fun to ride and have loads of power.

Depends on how the engine health is but might not be a horrible deal

Has your engine always sounded clattery like that ? I bought one very cheap, got it running and it sounds exactly like yours. Doesn't get worse, valves are spot on. New cam chain tensioner.

yeah its from what i know always had that noise, we've redone the values on it so i cant be that and it has a new basically whole rear end in it so it shouldn't be anything major. I've tried to figure out what it is but the only really big guess I've had so far is taht the chain might be making that noise. Over all though it has got like louder so it should be fine.
