Rode there for the first time about two months ago. It’s a nice place to ride since it’s less than an hour from my house...Works for bikes, quads and Side by sides!!!!

El problema fue que dejaron mucha basura, huesos de las carnes azadas,,, bot3llas de cerveza, jugos, y basura en general. Yo resido en este pueblo y estoy a favor de que se nos habran las puertas otra vez. Por qué yo tambien corro dirt bike y ahora ya no lo podré hacer con mi familia por culpa de aquellos dejaron basura. Lleguemos a un acuerdo con la ciudad de Avenal pagando un impuesto de 20 dólares por camioneta que ingrese para mantener limpia y segura el area y seamos conscientes de respetar las áreas limpias. Saludos a todos los bikers desde Avenal Ca.

Los de la ciudad tienen cerrado. Ahorita andamos en un pueblito que está entre Avenal y colinga. Le dicen colinguita. Está muy cerca de Avenal. Son como unas tres millas acía colinga... Caiganle. Vamos a seguir haciendo motocross

this is my own 2 cents for what its worth in the late 80s early 90s me and my riding buds would ride all over the valley fresno county valley floor along railroad tracks canals in the rivers cross the valley drink a few beers good times what happened in some of those places we noticed more and more groups show up stay the night rvs sand rails they had to air lift a few riders out that killed it in the day when we road dirt bikes as kids all the time learned how to ride and learned how to wreck now some familys live in town never ride buy bikes quads and dont realy no how to ride if you go out 2 or 3 times a year to ride thats you learn how to shift gears thats about it rideing and shiftings gear are not the same

Update: As of January 2020 Avenal riding area is officially closed 😡 My uncle went a week ago and it was closed by the property owner... Don’t know if or when it will ever open.....

Edi's How to, not cool man, Waaaay too many people out there. This spot is not an OHV area ran by the state, BLM or anyone. This was a bit of a secret place to ride that is private land, owned by Chevron. It used to be open because not many people would show up and I fear this large event might lead to Chevron pulling the cord on our fun.
