I was in Tangier, Meknes, Azrou, Rissani, and Merzouga 20 years ago. I absolutely loved it. While I was there I there, I thought a GS would have been the perfect companion. Thank you for sharing!

Excellent episode. The Atlas mountains look amazing, must have been 100% better actually being there. I have already had the maps out and Morocco could well be in the bucket list now.

Wauw! Sitting here in Denmark in the cold, dreaming me away on a trip like yours! It would be great if you would give a description or exact names and locations of your hotels during the trip, because I want to make it to. Can’t wait till next episode!! Cheers from Peter 😊

Thanks Peter. We made up our route as went along and simply used hotel booking apps to book the night before. Nothing was really planned until the day before we needed.

Looks a great place to ride ,you’ve got more guts than me, oil leaking out I’d be panicking 😕 I don’t think well I know I’d be heading back ,what an adventure 👍🏻,
@SidekickSolo Жыл бұрын
The riding was amazing and when the oil leak did start I was panicking but I just wanted to make it to the Sahara so I just kept going with the intention of just seeing how far it would make it. It was a massive gamble.

Enjoyed watching your prep and travels on this series. However riding wearing just a t-shirt is not too smart. Don’t you have a mesh jacket?
@SidekickSolo Жыл бұрын
Thanks. I do very much agree with ride for the slide. I set the ff from the uk with 2 liners zipped into my jacket by the time I got to Morocco I had them both out and all vents undone and I was so hot it was a distraction. I don’t have a mesh jacket unfortunately but will get one for next season.

Amazing episode, brilliantly produced - only thinking about you this morning how you were getting on ?.I didn't expect to see Alan on a Z125 , that is one heavily laden little Monkey !.I nearly bought one earlier this year in the same colour as a quirky ' runaround ', if it can stand up to this , seems like a good choice !.Glad the GS is performing well after all your efforts .Looking forward to Part 3 , safe riding to the both of you.

It is definitely a must do destination if you are able to. I would say this time of year is the best time of year to visit due to it being cooler than in the summer.
