Amazing content as usual! An insane effort from Jack and the support crew as well. Great job on getting all the work done and still getting the BTS for youtube!

Have just around to watching this… the logistics alone made my brain hurt. Never mind the physical fortitude of Jack Thompson to ride thru the shit and complete the challenge. Serious kudos all round.

So glad to hear Jack is doing ok. Not on social anymore so KZbin is my only way of catching up. Also jealous that you can all travel to such stunning places, not so here. The restrictions keep changing and you never know when you'll get turned back so I'm kinda stuck between checkpoints doing hill repeats on an 20km 8% grade....those wheels on jacks bike say it all right now...oh yeah and even as an amateur photographer power lines are a PITA 😆

don't worry about remembering names of French towns, if your "bonjour" is anything to go by you'd get half of France coming after you for mispronouncing their hometown names 😅

What’s fascinating to me about this is that the mental fatigue you experienced is in many ways more draining than the physical fatigue Jack experienced. That’s not meant to be flippant - it’s something many of us experience and why “training stress” is only a tiny fraction of the story compared to “life stress”. I can ride for 8hours on the bike and feel invigorated, but 8hours if desk/office work can leave me like a zombie
@tristantakevideo2 жыл бұрын
Cheers for the comment..especially on one of the older videos. Well timed..I’ve actually just spent the last 11 hours straight on the computer editing my next video and man I’m wrecked! Would much prefer an 11 hour ride! But you’re right..training stress IS only a small portion of what makes up physical capabilities. Having said this, what Jack did was pretty wild to watch..he has a lot of mental strength, as well as physical strength, that’s for sure.
