Are there any tech trails there? Looks like they're mainly into their flat out flow. The terrain looks like concrete with loose stones over it as well.... Scary!

That's unfortunately how most of the public trails and bikeparks are built here in Europe, with some exceptions in France & Switzerland :/

Saalbach has turned more into a place for those kind or tracks over the years. Hard base and loose gravel on top. The only track warranting a full DH bike is the Xline, mainly because of it's length. But a trail or enduro bike is the best option there. For the most technical trail, check out the Bergstadl Trail, which starts at the Top of Hacklber, but peels off at the top section.

Keep an eye out for a video featuring the most technical trail i've ever ridden, and that includes compared to everything from Rotorua and Christchurch aswell. Although that trail really is a one off, it is mostly flow here, or at least a combination of both. Im going to try explore some trails in Leogang as well, hopefully find some more tech!

Chur! Yea boi, sic as 🤘 How does the loose gravel over hard-pack perform? Have you changed your tire setup much?

Its not too bad actually, its only the really loose parts you have to think about loosing traction, lots of the berms you can actually push really hard into, although that has already caused a few sketchy situations. I've found i've actually had to increase my tire pressure for all riding here. Its just so much faster and rockier, there are some wall rides coming in future videos which can be hit with so much speed the rim hits the wood if I run my usual Rotorua tire pressures!

Traveling out of Saalbach with the bike is going to be a bit of a challenge, but I do hope to explore more riding spots. Innsbruck's on the list, maybe in a couple months. Schladming is my first goal for a riding day out of the valley
