Bob, I’m currently on a 1250 GS triple back, 23. Once it’s done it’s time, I’ll be on the 1300 triple black, looks like a proper revaluation of the ol girl.

Looks are growing on me. I like that styling but not sure it's worth the additional cost, I'd go black. Front end is questionable, but overall looks much more dynamic. Just not sure I could warrant the cost as generally I buy outright. PCP will be attractive to most I'm sure. That much tech worries me also. That's said, if money wasn't an concern I'd have a go

I need to tell my BMW dealership about the anti-theft keyless feature. None of them had a clue and guessed that the compartment was somehow blocking the signal vs the 1250's behavior! 🤣 Luckily, I always carry the key in my pocket👍

There is a worldwide stop sale order on these, effective today. Starter relay issues. A few of them have even caught on fire. No date has been issued for when they'll continue with deliveries. Check the GS 1300 forums for details. I honestly don't know why so many people are in love with these. Lots of hype, I suppose. 🤷♂️

Been asking Triumph for every month since they announced them, but no luck so far even though they tell me I'm top of the list. I know they're in dealers, but my local dealer has been told by Triumph HQ not to lend bikes to press before the official press launch which will be later this month.

Motobob, I was looking at the tech specs of the new Tiger 900 Rally Pro 2024 model and it weight 228 kgs wet. The bmw f900 gs(a) is around 218 kgs but bmw in their ad say everything is "optional". Any idea what the f900 gsa would weigh if specced same as a Tiger 900 Rally Pro?

Interesting, I like my current 1200 GS. Not ready to trade it in yet. So it is very likely my next bike will be a used 1250 or a 1300. The GS works for me. Nice looking bike but everyone seams to reviewing the big really expensive green one. Realistically I’d be looking for the more basic bike choosing a more on road than off road version. I’m not sure I’d need the adaptive ride hight. My bike has a 33.5 in seat, it adjusts to fit my 32 in leg length when I park my 200lbs Ass on it. I do find I can flat foot the road oriented Adv bikes I can’t quite flat foot the more off road versions. My center stand is a bugger, glad to hear it’s not just me. I have the keyless fob, I keep it in my pocket JIK, I leave it on the bike and it gets nicked. Can you open the box to get at the key? I like my central on off button and separate heated grip button. Looks like a PIA. I have cruise control but never use it. The blind warning is something I might like. I have the auto adjust suspension, lean ABS , and a bunch of ride modes. I do change it to enduro when I go of road. Not sure it makes much difference to me. It’s easy to persuade me to pick another GS. Just which options or color. Is the the new GS still the best all rounder I can by?

Mr. Motobob, you have to hit the gym if you’re having trouble getting a Tiger 800 up on the stand. ??🤷🏻♂️, I have a 900 GT-Pro and it’s one of the easiest stands to manipulate 🤔 The electric lift stand on the BMW is an option no one relly asked for or needed

It's a widely known problem with the Tiger 800s which I guess was addressed on the 900s, and it's especially pronounced on the XC and XCa models with the longer suspension.

Rats. They made it smaller. I wanted it bigger. I'm 6'5" with a 37inch inseam. Maybe a taller seat and lower pegs, or possibly the next GSA will fit.
