Riding the small train in Skykomish, WA

7-16-22 Visiting Skykomish for the old timers festival. my wife's father (88) used to work in the depot here as a telegrapher for the Great Northern Railroad.

It was fun! We were up for the oldtimer festival. My wife's father grew up here and actually worked in the depot as a telegrapher.

I don't live too far from there maybe about a 45-minute drive I need to go up there and take my daughter on the train she would love it more than anything

@@bnsffan6584 Sorry we missed you! We were there for the old timers picnic. My wife's dad used to telegraph in the depot there! He then went on to dispatch for NP until he retired in 93 from BN. He would have enjoyed talking with you!
