i havent gotten me an EUC yet but i want one for transportation purposes. this wheel definetly sold me. what doesnt sell me is the crazy price marker these companies are putting on these wheels. at 4.5k you can get yourself a fair car that can get you from point A to point B and hold some people inside and some groceries. i think the price markup is simply to keep pace with competition from other EUC companies, there has to be an end game for this product at some point. within 200 years from now if any of these companies still exist, im sure they would be making some sort of hover motorcycle at that point lmao.

There's always a new, better, more powerful, more whatever wheel coming out soon. I just bought the Patton and have been mostly happy with it, but I think the larger diameter tire would be better for the off-roading I usually do. My Master (non-Pro) feels less tiring and more stable both on and off-road, though the suspension on the Patton is very good and not rattly. Also, the Patton has a remarkable range given the size of the battery. 40 miles with battery charge to spare is easy. On the Master with those high discharge cells and smaller capacity - not so much.

Had I not bought a Begode Ex30 a few months ago, in addition to already dropping a few more hundreds of dollars on Clark Fairing Kit, pads, iron man pedals & recently, the new upgraded shock linkage setup, I most definitely would have bought this one. I love my ex30 especially with my set up. The lynx looks like a awesome beautiful wheel but I'm sure the ex30 gets more range and is just as fast as the lynx someone tapped out at 64 mph on the ex30 that's moving but I love how the lynx doesn't weigh as much and looks slot more appealing then the ex30
@BegodeEx30 Жыл бұрын
@tremartin4727 The slightly less weight & extra safety features are the only 2 reason I would have chosen the Lynx over the EX30. The shock system also seem better as well but pretty much a none factor for me since being 52 I primarily just cruise streets & leave the jumping, going down steep steps & whatnot to the younger folks who bones can heal much faster than mine. Overall I'm pleased with my EX30 thus far but the Lynx probably would have been my choice if it was out before I purchased the EX30.

In terms of torque, would this be an upgrade from a master ? I still love my master and put around 80kms aweek on it, the only trouble I have is overtorquing under braking. I routinely overtorque it when braking hard and feel the rotor skipping (I ride at probably close to 100kgs fully geared, and I'm a very agressive rider in Paris, so I need torque to outbrake and outaccelerate everything). I rarely overtorque it on acceleration due to my pad set up, but I'd do with more headroom still, would this wheel be for my use case ? Thanks !

Before confusing others, oscillation and wobble are different terminology. If it's oscillation then wheel needs to be fixed (oscillation refers to movement forward and backward viciously) whereas wobble is demonstrated when you do fast braking and some wheels like commander Pro have wobble while braking
@freshlycharged Жыл бұрын
Good point.
@JonahHax Жыл бұрын
It's not the wheel that wobbles, it's the rider. Can be fixed in many ways. You can carve while braking, you can set rear pads higher up, you can ride with lower pressure in the tyre or you can just get more experience with the wheel.
@darkstar4494 Жыл бұрын
A wobble is a type of oscillation, just not the type you’re talking about. Oscillation is a general term. A motor oscillation is a malfunction as you mentioned. Wobbles can happen for different reasons. Fast braking is one of the common cases, yes.
@sby1076 Жыл бұрын
@@darkstar4494 obviously U never experienced wooble and oscillation then no point trying to be smart ...if U ride Ex30 early days then U knew what happened before they fixed it via firmware
@darkstar4494 Жыл бұрын
@@sby1076 just clarifying terminology. Yes I’ve experienced wobbles. I believe I’ve experienced the type of oscillations you mentioned when a board went out way back on my msx. It was not rideable. Maybe it’s slightly different than the malfunction you experienced on ex30. This isn’t relevant though, it doesn’t matter if I’ve experienced it personally. oscillation is a general term. Wobbling that increases in amplitude also involves resonance, another general term.

For me, I just don’t like the reduction in battery compared to the Sherman-S / Max. I get that most people will be fine with the reduced battery capacity, but as a 260 lbs rider I can “only” get about 50-60 miles on a full charge on my Max and I have sag about 30 miles in where I can’t push it as hard or sustain high 30-40 mph.

@@SaiyanEucthe amps don’t matter for looking at efficiency, the watts do, and the watts are more or less the same from what i heard. i have absolutely no problem with them not wanting to let people get to 80mph, but the problem is that they limited the freespin speed entirely making it have WAYYYY less headroom instead of them just making tiltback at a slower speed which i have no problem with. what they did makes it cutoff around the 60mph mark (so cutoff at 50mph on lower battery or if there’s a pothole) with tiltback at 47ish mph, but they could’ve had tiltback at the same 47ish mph but have a cutoff at 85mph (70mph if you have low battery or hit a pothole) making it MUCH more safe

@@VECTOR_Coasters okay that makes sense I see your point here
