Seemed like the perfect day of the year you chose to visit the mountains. The blue skies and then foggy weather was a welcome surprise. One small suggestion- you can use Google maps offline mode to save the online maps, which can be useful in emergency.

You can continue to explore alone as sothern India is safer for solo rides even in the isolated areas. I would have prefered to take a pillion rider so that he or she can also experience this excellent ride and the expenditure remains the same. I will take back my words if your better half gets annoyed. Can't belive, there are so many good spots and jungle near Pune, it is worth visiting this area. The tracks were too harsh on the suspension of your modified Himalayan. Thanks for taking us on a refreshing trip. 🙏
