Riding to Cheddar Gorge - Scrambler Ducati Tribute Pro

Beautiful ride and beautiful bike...and that evocative music in the gorge was greatly immersive. I'm thinking of switching from a Multistrada to a Scrambler 1100,maybe it's the wrong move but I dunno..I would like a much simpler bike at the moment

I literally watched this around 20 times today. You sold me on the bike. It might be a too much torque/HP for first motorcycle, but I don't think I can resist. Beautiful video, great timing and choice for the music -- excellent all around. Thank you for sharing.

It's a wonderful machine. As for whether it's a good first bike or not, I would say it depends on your ability. It's less than 100 HP, although it puts out a good amount of torque, and is pretty forgiving. I hope that helps.

It is! It's amazing what they achieved for a Euro5 exhaust. It's meaty and full of character.

Yes, good ear! I bought a Zoom H1n to capture the audio separately, and then sync it up with the visual in edit. I'm still getting used to playing around with the settings, but it's a noticeable improvement.

Hey man, sorry for taking so long to reply! It felt comfortable, and I didn't play around with any of the fork adjustments; I left the set up the same as it arrived. Have you tried any making any changes on yours?

How does this compare to the 1100 sport pro (the black one)?

Great question! They’re very similar bikes. The notable differences are the change in suspension and the raised handlebars. I’m no expert, but the Öhlins on the Sport Pro gave me more confidence as it’s a proper racing setup, but the Marzocchi still feel great and are fully adjustable. I rode both for long journeys and didn’t really feel a difference between bars. It’s hard to choose which one to go for!
