There used to be a day when truckers were nice to each other and were patient to let you back in, i was setting up at the Flying J off Horizon Blvd. just of East El Paso when a super trucker came screaming around and blocked my setup, i tried reasoning with the clown since i was almost out of hours but he was in a hurry. So i went back to my truck, went off duty and set the brakes. Eventually i worked a little more on juking and jiving that i was able to get parked but the moral of the story is he would have been out of the truck stop 10 minutes sooner had he exercised a little patience. Not sure what it is with Amazon Prime drivers but they need to learn how to drive before hitting the roadway!

We were at a horrible truck stop in Texas. Set up to back into a spot. Doing our thing, then my husband said I'm going to get out and look. A bobtail had flown into the space on his blind side. It was the last parking space . If there was a time to hurt somebody...

The truck stop was crazy. The worst I’ve seen in your videos. I don’t think I’ve got the patience to wait like you guys did. Thumbs up on that. I’ve had In-n-Out back in their hay day, but they’ve cheapened up their ingredients and it’s down there with Mickey D’s now. Once you’ve had Whataburger and Five Guys, there’s no other chain burger out there that can touch them. Great videos!

I was about a couple weeks ahead of you, but, yeah, I will park and walk one or two miles for good food. I've had Uber deliver me food at a drop yard. My favorite, though, is Waco TX where I would park at the Flying J and check into a room at the Quality Inn across the way. Denny's. Bed. Wifi. Good times.

I don’t understand driving around someone that is trying to park. I have been driving for almost 30 years and this seems to get worse every year. I can remember when you would turn on your hazards or just swing out drivers would stop and wait or even get out and help one another. Now it’s just me me me I’m first I have to go. Glad I only have about 5 years before I retire.

I use my iPad Pro and Google Maps for my GPS. It always gives good alternative routes in crazy weather or traffic situations.

Yes, but you need to be careful with Google maps because it doesn't account for you being in a truck and can't take some roads. 🤔

If you guys go back to Yuma, stop at the Giant (Flying J), there’s a really good restaurant there, or Jack n the box and it’s not quite the zoo that the Love’s is. In n out isn’t quite worth it lol. There’s a In n out in Barstow on i15 that has a TA and if you’re unfortunate enough to end up in the LA area, the TA & Petro (in Ontario) also has a In n out near it and a Farmers Bros

My first choice for food anytime I have time to kill at a truck stop is a restaurant (that isn’t necessarily country pride) within about 1.5 miles. Longest I walked was 2.25 to a vape shop in Pontoon Beach.

Hey guys I have walked up to 5 miles one way to find that right place to eat, get out of the truck for awhile and get some exercise. I recently bought a folding bike I keep strapped in the top bunk and bust it out when I want to cover some ground. Its amazing what you can discover just a couple miles from the average truck stop so many are missing. And Five Guys is better.

No, that's not trucking. There has to be something wrong with CFI's maintenance schedule. Trucks shouldn't break down that often. In the 2 years I've been with this company, I only had one break down that lasted more than a day. And that was because it was a holiday weekend. Since I got this new truck 10 months ago I haven't broken down yet.

I loved the features, but the map wasn't reliable once I missed a turn for whatever reason.. then it would tell me to make a u-turn at every intersection and go into neighborhoods.. never would reroute to an actual truck route. When I went to return it, the worker said everyone was returning them. Hopefully you have better luck!
