It's basically a Honda, Lifan manufactured parts for honda AND did a deal with MV Augusta to sell their bikes throughout Lifan shops. I hear everyone saying "it's a Chinsese bike", YES and Kawasaki, Suzuki, Honda, Yamaha are ALL Japanese/China made.

@Guillermo del paisa do your research moron.Lifan makes parts for honda and there bikes are without question the most reliable chinese bikes you can get.
@smartacus883 жыл бұрын
Nothing wrong at all with the Lifan bikes. You get a lot for your money. The 197cc engines are not very fast, but they are one of the best Chinese companies and the quality is comparable to Japanese bikes. If it said Suzuki Kawasaki Yamaha or Honda on the side it'd cost 4k-6k and wouldn't be any better a bike with the same engine size. Edit: There is a lot i don't like about China, but the simple fact is they're the new Japan, and are doing what the Japanese companies USED to do for the American market. That is offer toys that the common man can actually afford. I watch bike reviews where guys are saying 5k-10k bikes are good "budget" options and it just makes me sick. The Japanese bikes and their upper middle class market are so out of touch with the majority of the population and the reality of our economy its pathetic. Poor people deserve options and the ability to have fun too. Didn't intend on ranting, but there it is haha.

I like China and their product. Definitely the country with lowest price I have ever lived in my entire life and best quality in the same price range(or maybe x2).
@CORNHUSKMCGRAW2 жыл бұрын
How you just gonna write an essay on this man page
@flyingphoenix1132 жыл бұрын
The problem is how they get to that price--by paying their workers next to nothing. If it was just more efficient manufacturing or cheaper access to raw materials, that would be one thing. The way they get to these price points is by aggressively exploiting the lower class.
@d00finshmertz482 жыл бұрын
@@flyingphoenix113 Take advantage while you can, they are doing it whether you like it or not. I am American to the bone but it's not like our country's businesses treat their employees that much better. I would be curious to see how much difference it is when you scale inflation and cost of living against the pay for each country. There is a lot of middle class money happening in China's major manufacturing cities.
@47f02 жыл бұрын
China is not the new Japan. We laughed at Japan when they were importing cheap pocket size transistor radios. We laughed at Japan when they first started importing crummy little cameras that fell apart after one roll of film. We laughed at the very first Honda cars, which looked like they should come with skate laces so you could make them fit. A decade later and many fewer people were laughing. Two decades later and Japan was dominating fields like electronics and photography, and challenging giants like General Motors and Ford. Japan was a post-war country with a small population, no real natural resources, and a manufacturing infrastructure that had been bombed back to the level of chopstick production. China has none of those handicaps. They have plenty of people, abundant natural resources, and their manufacturing facilities, like the new Geely Volvo factory, are making Western observers very uncomfortable. The only thing China really has in common with Japan is that we haven't learned. We're still laughing.

I have a KPM 200 with about 250 miles on it so far. I got it on the 1st of December and I live in northern Michigan so not many days without ice and snow on the roads at the moment🥶 I'm loving it. Simple, modern, with a retro cafe racer look. Runs great right out of the crate. I was sold on the fuel injection, disc brakes, inverted shocks in front and mono in the back ( all adjustable), gas gauge, gear and blinker indicator, as well as the LED light package. I did change the oil and check the tightness on everything ( it was all tight). My first bike in 15 years. It's been fantastic for relearning and definitely affordable. Name brand used bikes with thousands of miles and old tech going for $1,000 more than this was brand new in my area.

The KPR & KP 200cc engines have several improvments over other small 250cc single cylinder bikes. 1st. They are water cooled with s radiator; 2nd. Because they are pressure lubrication an Oil coolet could be added; 3rd. They have an OHC for better performance; 4th. They are fuel injected 5th. They have a multi link tear suspencion; 6th. Inverted front forks; 7th. An actual fairly large Oil filter cleanable screen; 8th. Led lighting ! One video of a KPR showed the bike going 84 mph !

I never heard of any upgrades for the bike you bought and I'm almost positive people just buy the kp200 because it a 200cc but it doesn't enter change with anything so there nothing that can be done to it as far as I no. What’s the top speed in mph?
@Pandainapandasuit3 жыл бұрын
75 mentioned in specifications, retailers and manufactures website. But youtubers pushing the rpms up can get 87 but note that you won't get to that very quickly, it's very gradual beyond a point and that's pushing it. Neat bike thou.
