I was planning to visit pilgrimage places and not off-roading but some pilgrimage places do not have good roads. So my plan is to buy Basic low end Isuzu cab version , convert it to automatic & then get body building done to include bathroom, kitchen, sleeping for 2 & also large 400 liter water storage bcoz we don’t have water facilities in all pilgrimage places. I may not carry that much water provision should be there to stay in places for weeks. Is it possible practically based on your experience? I got quite of 30 lakhs for conversion excluding vehicle & its cost of converting to automatic transmission. It’s high but can afford it. What’s ur suggestions ? I only have experience of driving Nissan Hatchbback & automatic vehicle. Is this doable &practical ? Thx a lot for your suggestions.,.

I am not going to use it for off-roading or for camping but to live in it while I do pilgrimage for 6 months at stretch several times in future for visiting various pilgrimage places in India. Kindly read my full detailed message and share your experience. I need lot more place so can’t afford to take the models which have passenger seats. It has to be D MAx chasis then.
