+keyup2626 Know your pain man I have to get my biking pleasure from youtube as well in the past 18 months I have snapped both my femurs and have rods in them (cant even think about walking till late October) and have a plate in my wrist too. If I crash and bend a rod in my leg .. its amputation. So I had to sell my VTR1000 and wont be buying another. Whats worse ... I live in Tasmania ... Motorcycle news rated our roads the BEST in the WORLD and they werent lying.. Tom can back me up on that one. Chin up. Life is a piece of shit but... have to make the most of it. Ive broken 38 bones in 22 years haha, gotta find a bright side

+thetassieboys oh man that's sounds just terrible, painful to. Was it an bike accident you had? Just hang in there and don't try riding till your all healed up and cleared by your doctors. Losing a limb is just to life altering no matter how temping it may be to get back riding. Just from watching Tom's videos you really are blessed with such a awesome country. If you ever have a chance to come to Canada it's a huge country and lots of different riding experiences. All the best to you and I hope you a speedy recovery. Phil

keyup2626 Haha nah, ive only broken 1 bone from a bike incident The rest were other random stuff (was born with Osteogenesis Imperfecta, brittle bones and my treatment wore off) And most people dont realise, Australia is pretty much a tiny bit bigger than the whole of the United states haha Ive got a picture of a to scale map of Australias border outline covering all of USA And the island state of Tasmania just below Australia is like 3-5 times bigger than Hawaii and its islands :p

HI Tom, I was riding the Tiger you found alongside the Birdsville. I went through some deep mud about 1 km before and spun the wheel a bit. I picked up a stick or rock between the swingarm and rim, and it gouged the rim and tyre. I was belting along when the bike ejected me. A bit scary. When I landed I rolled and rolled and rolled and rolled and rolled and rolled. But I was fine, which amazed me. Got a new Tiger now.
