So, Rietvlei Dam was calling us again!! We just had to try catch those bigger fish. We had a successful day but those bigger fish remain elusive... For now.

Rietvlei dam remains an amazing venue, that at times is a treat and other times a hard lesson teacher.

You must also use almond dough on both hooks at rietvlei. It works well. Great video

Head to rietvlei this Friday. With the crap weather do you reckon we will catch anything. We are planning on staying for 2 nights. Do have any tips to catch some fish despite the crap weather.

It’s first come first serve at Rietvlei, gates open at 06:00 but sometimes they open earlier.

Great vid. What is the price of the nets and what would you rate the quality?

I enjoy using these nets. The rubber helps with the hooks and protects the fins of the fish. They soft but sturdy at the same time. The necks have been reinforced as well and so far seems to be a lot stronger then my older ones.
