I graduated from BF High School in 1989. Our principal, Dr. Norman K. Spencer was our very own Joe Clark. Padlocks and chains and a bullhorn. He barked each morning at us this chant over the intercom and in the i will never forget it. "Franklin High is moving up! We've got the strength cause we are tough! Moving fast, we won't last. We do our best to pass the tests. We're number 1, we're better than the rest. We look good, act good...and SMELL Good! Franklin High, Franklin High, Franklin HIGH!" They don't breed leaders like him and Joe Clark anymore. RIP, Dr. Spencer! We heard you and believed we could and we DID!
