Quick question before i purchase. Is this reel reversible? Im left handed so hoping its a same slip drag system and can simply wind line on opposite direction. Cheers.

Good Question - This reel is not reversible. The internal drag rollers are positioned at an angle which functions smoothly one way only.

How do you secure the starting point of the line to the reel, please? I received this reel with my euro setup, but I found that there is no way to accomplish this, and essentially, without this "fixed" point, the lines will not be locked in their position. As a result, the entire reel keeps rotating against the plastic axle, rendering the locking mechanism useless.

Can I use this on the mares 90 sniper pro

Our reels are manufactured to be installed and used on wooden stock spearguns. Someone very handy might be able to mount it to another type of speargun with some ingenuity, but the overarching answer is no.
