For those who still don't really get how the cards flow like a fan here is a tip: Try to hold the deck completely upright. Not in an angle or something just vertically. Press your index/middle whatever finger on the pivot point which is usually just at the bottom in the middle (Do not press too strong!) and just dribble down (seriously just dribble) . The dribble is very important. If you cannot dribble one card at the time you wont get a good looking fan. This actually helped me a lot.

Just wanted to say thanks for this tutorial. I have looked at so many tutorials and couldnt get any sort of fan. Watched this tutorial and with the help of some comments using the thumb etc i was able to get the cards to fan, not perfect obviously but now ive got a base!

so iv got the 360°down but it doesnt spread as good an it seems like yours an other on here is much faster too? any tips?
@Gooth7 жыл бұрын
I'd say just be more comfortable with dropping the cards and adjusting your grip as the fan progresses. Once you get to 360°, tighten your grip so the cards don't fall out. The even-ness of the spread just comes with practice
@itsmagicbro15517 жыл бұрын
Guys, do not use momentum for the riffle fan. The looser you dribble, the farther it is going to go. Also, just put a little pressure with your pointer finger. Only use your pointer and middle, because that prevents a regrip in the end. Also, tilt it a little forward, and right if you're right hand, and forward and left if you're a lefty.

Shouldnt this be called more the DRIBBLE fan as opposed to riffle???

"Riffle Fan" is the most common name for it. Also, you're really riffling the cards rather than performing a full dribble. Good point though

@jameswedgbury93304 жыл бұрын
hey man hes trying his best allow it fam
@tomasleonardo51974 жыл бұрын
@John Farj It doesn’t matter what you’re doing in life, if you always give your best, you will get much better results than if you don’t. Giving 100% in everything you do ALWAYS leads you to greater things in life. Those who train harder, study harder and give more of themselves will always get more out of their life than those who take it easy, that’s just common sense. So give your best, give everything you have to get your best possible result, if it doesn’t work out at least you will have the pride of knowing you gave it your best shot. At worst you will have also learned as much as you can along the way, and those who are committed to learn more in life will almost always be the same people who earn more and become more. Second thing I have to say is - your young, far too young to stress out. Leave that crap for later in life, when you have kids and bills to pay. For now, just do your best, work hard and see what happens. Your path will reveal itself in time. When you really know what you want to do with your life, when you find something you must do, that is when you must lock in and say THIS IS IT that is when you tell yourself IM ALL IN. One failed test doesn’t mean jack in the real world. Do you know how many successful people failed tests in school? Every one of them. It’s normal. But guess what? Those successful people didn’t give up, and THAT IS THE KEY. They kept working on becoming BETTER THEMSELVES . Better in everything they do. When you get out on the field of life, no one wants the guy who passed every test, they want the guy who was willing to fight for his dream, the one who had the character to fight back after failing - that guy is much more valuable in the real world that someone with book knowledge. So work on yourself. Work on your education, yes, but work on yourself just as much. Build some mental strength - it’s much more important than passing a test. You can not win in life, if you’re losing in your mind. If your mind is strong, then your LIFE will be strong. So fuck off John Farj.
