Nice to see more Insurgency youtubers. People always say this game is dead but I NEVER struggle to find a game. And as a fragfiend myself, please people cook your grenades too. Say you clicked and held the lmb, press the rmb while you're holding it, and you'll pull the pin too. It's about 4-5 seconds before it blows, so chef em up and serve em out next time.

On open maps: heavy carrier + smoke launcher, with this combination you get 3 smoke launchers so the enemy won’t snipe you everytime you leave the spawn. Try to stick x2 scope + flash hider in your rifle, the rest of the points get 3 smoke grenades (yep, pick 6 smoke grenades if no one is throwing it). Close maps: light carrier + smoke launcher, with that you get 2 launchers. Instead of getting more smoke grenades switch towards frag (1~2 is OP), with this combination you can help your whole team + getting tons of kills.

Good guide for rifleman. The VHS is easily the best weapon for rifleman and imo the best weapon in the game but it expensive so I only run it in ambush and Difusale. Also it might have been different when this video was made but armor is a must have now imo. With heavy armor you can tank 2-3 rounds of 5.56/7.62x39 and it takes 2 308 rounds to kill you. The amount of times I've survived because I have level 3 armor. The only loadouts I have level 1 on is a demo loadout because of running level 3 carrier and a marksman loadout.

I would prefer if the commander smokes the objective, because commander cannot call fire support through the smoke. I usually put flash hider, and recoil grip on my rifles with at least 1 frag, and optionally smoke launcher instead of recoil grip. Usually at least 1 smoke grenade if no smoke launcher is present. scope is 2x-1x or 4x-1x depending on map size.

AKM iron sights with a compensator and extendo mag or M16 same bolt ons. Or the G3/FAL with 4x scopes.

Tip: I play on Xbox not sure if it’ll work on PS or PC but on each of my classes no matter what loadout try this: Before your match starts and it’s counting down tap your reload button one time on your primary and let it fully go through the reload animation then switch to your secondary and do the same reload, once you’re done with your secondary reload switch back to your primary and you should notice you now have 1 extra mag if you did this correctly. Has worked every time.

A lot of people do reload at the beginning of the match on PC, but all it does is give you one extra round because one goes in the chamber. Never heard about getting an entirely new mag before.

I just got the game yesterday, and as a combat vet myself, I have to say it's close to being what actually happens in combat. With that said, nothing will ever come close to accuracy as actually being in combat. Those who know, know. Now for changes and updates to the game. Motion trip claymores would be nice, an actual medic class to patch you up if you're hit, but only once. After that, you have to wait until the objective capture respawn. Wrist activated GPS to mark approache angles for a recon class and flanking vectors along with estimated tango numbers. A better call-out system for out going and incoming Munitions, i.e., artillery, motors, grenades. And some kind of visual hit indicator, so you know your rounds are landing on target. Maybe have the tango stumble or stagger. Body armor or not, you're going to react to being hit in some way. Just my thoughts, but I've only been playing for two days. So maybe I've missed a few things.

@CallsignChris it hasn't happened lately but the first few times I played I kept getting killed by my teammates and then they would all vote to kick me and I didn't have a headset at the time so I couldn't really argue against it or anything. Hasn't happened as much since I got a headset though. I think I just got unlucky and got some bad matches in the beginning and they screwed with me because I was new or something.

Nope! Demo and observer have the smoke launcher and should be using them as much as possible :)
