Game specific Key Maps (e.g. "Rift-Combat") are only applied if you have an existing configuration that would conflict with the setup you are setting up in the Quick Setup Wizard. Otherwise, the Key Maps will always be "Combat", "Non-combat" and "Always On"

im used to just alt tabbing. Started 2 boxing in Everquest II 6 years ago with a necro and warden. alt tabbed every time.

The Hotkey to get your guys to assist, by default, is Alt+A (@2:15 on the Hotkeys tab) not F. F is the key binding configured within the game to get the guy you're playing to assist his Target. (@4:10 on the Game Key Bindings tab) If you need help, I highly recommend coming to the ISBoxer Chat Room or the ISBoxer.com forums, it is difficult to do support like this via youtube comments.

If they are following *someone* when you press Alt+F, then you probably have the follow part right, but perhaps not the Targeting part. If your Party Targeting hotkeys (in the game) are not F1 through F6 that would probably be the issue here. Otherwise, make sure you use the Auto-fill option in the Game Key Bindings tab in the wizard (video @3:50), log in to your guys in the order given in the wizard (@0:37), and then *join the group* in the same order within the game (@11:42).

Re-watched this. Few main points. 1. Clicking the auto-fill button when assigning player assignments in group is CRITICAL 2. Synchronizing the Follow and Interact helps avoid stupid mistakes where one character might have a macro made thats mis-spelled slightly. And to help out, Now ISBoxer has RIFT specific Key Maps vs shown in the video. Not a big deal, however, it may be a good idea to copy the mapped key from the standard Control for "DPS1"; paste it into the "Combat" section.

how do you open multiple rift games? i can only open one launcher at a time.

hmmm. Interesting. I recall, last night when I setup my team, I DID get an alert window that warned me there was a conflict for some purpose. I wasn't aware of what the conflict was, just assumed. I wonder if something I altered to play WoW was the culprit. Thanks for explaining this Lax. I'll check into it this evening. It doesn't *hurt* anything to have it set up the way mine is... does it?

if everyone is standing it's not too hard to move characters as a group into a line or star formation... but is it possible to "follow the leader" while maintaining formation? Its less than ideal but rather clumsily I can do so using both hands, one controlling the leader using the WASD keys, and then the other controlling the followers using arrow keys (via keymaps assigned to for forward, back, turn left, turn right).

What happened is you right clicked on Characters and selected New Character, and then probably haven't touched it since. And ISBoxer doesn't want to Export because it's not right. So in the top left pane, expand Characters, and right click on the "New Character" you have, and select Delete.

Are you using Windows XP? The "Mute" option in your Character Set (to mute all but the main window) will only work correctly on Vista or later.

Do you have any suggestions on how to have all your characters loot a corpse at one time for quest items?

This won't work for me. When I load in my character sets, it loads and does nothing. When I click play in glyph patcher, it sends an "Rift has encountered an error" crash message.

Turn Broadcasting Mode off (Shift+Alt+R by default), and Key Maps on (Shift+Alt+M by default). If you need help I highly recommend coming to the ISBoxer Chat Room or the ISBoxer.com forums, it is difficult to do support like this via youtube comments.

I'm running Windows 7. It must have defaulted to windows XP compatibility. It just magically fixed its self, though.

Can't get them to assisst. They follow and everything but when I press F nothing happens they just stand there do nothing.

how did you open multiple instances of rift? its not letting me do this :( i click play and it does nothing after i have 1 open already

I did what you said. But in the end my characters are not working when I hit alt f and so on. They do no follow my main guy. They sometimes dont follow at all or they follow who ever they want in my group. Im in your isboxer chat room sitll waiting for an answer. Plz and thank you.

Trion "can" ban your account for anything, but ISBoxer has always been allowed for use by Trion in RIFT and there are no reports of any ISBoxer bans in this game.
