Yesterday played Maokai with a fasting Senna (in soloQ! 😮) in dragon lane. First couple of levels were farm under tower, sustain with passive/Senna Q/second wind, but then by level 4 we were winning lane and went on to dominate the game. So you can say he can technically go dragon lane as well 😂

Moakai is very op right now, ive played him as mage supp and tank, its criminal not to at least go one ap item regardless. Found hp to synergize best

I think you can do the ultimate backwards as it starts behind him on the direction you choose to use it. That was if you do it backwards itll instantly hit the champ next to you and makes it harder to dodge. Only really good for 1v1 though

well i think this game goes so well because he got a double kill early. If he just dies there to camille or lee, the match is way harder. thats why I don‘t like people upload a game with a good start and call maokai broken.

Im sure frozen heart is completely bugged and gives far more armour than it shows too. I was playign kha before, full build with % ap item against a jannah with frozen heart as only armour def item and she took 0 dmg from my q whilst she was isolated. I hit her with about 13 q's and didnt even get her to half hp

u can also try ROA for mana and damage for maokai its very helpful especially spamming 3rd in bush
