Ernie Ball... I had problems with string breakage and oxidation with D'Addarios, not saying they are bad 'cause mileage will vary, but I'm kinda surprised that almost every artist in these rig rundowns use the same brand when there are many other good ones around.

I find it somewhat ironic that Rob, the lead guitarist, plays a guitar with a tune-o-matic bridge and stop tailpiece, and Scott Ian, the rhythm player, plays a guitar with a Floyd Rose locking tremolo bridge. One would naturally think it should be the other way around. After all, why does a rhythm player need a whammy bar?

howcome all pedalboards with less then 40 pedals are called simple........alll the guys on these rig rundown call them simple bla bla bla. i thought simple was guitar /wireless(or cord)/ tuner/amplifier booooooom . hahahahaha no a simple rig is like i got 4 delays ,five flangers ten flamgers and a four channnels amplifier that goes into a a switching system cinsisting of 8 eqs and 2 distorsion pedal and 2 tube screamer....but orher then that its just me and the amp

Godphobia I am a loop artist. So to create my one man gig, I have two large pedal boards somewhat confusing. But needed and used. The one in front of me has my RC 300 loop station as well as three electro harmonics pedal,Mel 9 synth 9 and key 9.. so I can get organ, keys , synths and orchestra sounds . As well as a small mixer. My other pedal board has an ABY switch box to switch between my bass and guitar for laying bass tracks in the loop.. then it goes into a vocal harmonizer which matches my guitar chords to create vocal harmonies. Then it goes to the other pedal board to access the synth and keys sounds and I run out of the dry output of the first pedal board to come back into a tuner which acts as a mute, a wah, bass octave , bass synth, compressor, overdrive, distortion, phaser, reverb, chorus, 2 delays . .. bAck to the mixer then into the looper then out to stereo amps. It's a simple rig
